Beth Wiley went to a Basketry SA Exhibition 'Manipulated' in 2008 and was blown away with what was being made with natural fibres which are considered waste. 

"I was hooked immediately. I have always made floral arrangements from whatever plant life a location had to offer, becoming affectionately known as 'The Stick Lady'. I have been fortunate to belong to a group who are generous with sharing their skills ,ideas and encouraging experimentation. There are basic basketry methods, but rules can be broken."
