ABOUT THE ARTIST One Thousand Lines is the collaboration of partners Irena and Alen. They design, screen print and make all their products from start to finish in their home based studio in Adelaide. They like the idea of being involved in every step of the creative process and production - from the initial sketch, designing pattern, exposing screens, mixing inks, screen printing and sewing. That allows them to focus on every detail and enables them to continually change and evolve their products.
They draw inspiration from everyday surroundings, especially the natural environment. They love going on hikes, wondering around Adelaide Hills and looking for patterns and shapes in nature.
They use sustainable and high quality materials such as organic cotton, hemp and 100% linen. All fabrics and materials used in production are sourced from Australian businesses.
